broken CVS mirrors

Hi,

does anybody know how this f§*#&%g off-sync Gnome CVS mirror(s) can be  
switched off or ignored? I always need 3-4 attempts until I get the  
current code and not a version of March 28th. As patches accumulated a  
lot, this is a huge waste of bandwith and really annoying.
