I am not sure that this is what you were asking for. I am not too swift on this Linux stuff, but I am having a very good time learning. My GnomeCard is at /home/margo/.gnome/GnomeCard.grcd, and the typed in information is there when I open it. My address book, which right now is named Pilot_Address_Book shows up in whatever it is that I am sending to you.
This looks correct:
[address-book-0] Path=/home/margo/.gnome/GnomeCard.gcrd Type=LibBalsaAddressBookVcard Name=Pilot_Address_Book ExpandAliases=true DistListMode=false
Okay, I have 2 ideas, but perhaps first plz. look into File -> Address Book whether the are any entries. And please try to store a new contact with rightclick on received message -> Store Address -> Save.
Does t show up in Balsa and/ or GnomeCard? And, yes, Robert asked already, whether you are sure about saved mail-data in GnomeCard (Its handling is a bit difficult and cluttered - you 1st have to type a new address and after it click "Add" in the middle-pane, now the address will show up in the right pane of the "Network tab"
