cvs head : compose --> Sign icon not active

Hi,

I usually sign my messages.
So when I use the compose window (or whe I reply to a message), I'm  
asked for the password.

If I don't want to sign a message for any reason I *had* the ability to  
uncheck the "Sign" icon.

it is no more the xase, the default value is still to sign the message  
in my preferences but the icon doesnt appear as active so I cannot  
uncheck it.
