[OT] Howto convert Compuserve 3 mailboxes?

Hi all,

sorry for this *really* off-topic question: A colleague has a really old  
compuserve 3 mailbox which he wants to convert to mbox/maildir for usage  
with Balsa. Does anyone have an idea about either a conversion tool (free  
if possible) or the internals of this format to write the converter from  
scratch?
