Oddly enough, when I answer to your mail in Balsa, the compose window is empty, I had to copy and paste your reply in the compose window and indent it manually (arrghhh).

That's strange! It was delivered to you by the list-server, right? I have a copy delivered the same way, and can reply to it normally. Could you forward me a copy of what you received? I'll compare it with mine.

Best,

Peter

See attach. I am able to reproduce the problem by saving the file in .mail/ and trying to reply to the this mail as seen in the newly found mbox (after a manually initiated rescan of the mailboxes).

Using Balsa 2.3.2 manually compiled in an up-to-date Ubuntu Hoary. Locale settings are ro_RO (iso-8859-2).

Hi Steffen!

For local mailboxes, Balsa from cvs now saves a time-stamp for =20
the mailbox as well as the message counts, so mailbox changes =20
since the last session should be detected the first time the =20
mailbox is checked. I don't have the kind of delivery you =20
use--could you test it?

Hi Mi=C5=9Fu!

IMAP mailboxes are a bit more of a problem. IMAP servers have a =20
mechanism for detecting changes, but the overhead (a STATUS =20
request) is essentially the same as checking the mailbox, so your =20
best solution is probably to check "Check IMAP mailboxes" and =20
uncheck "Check INBOX only".

Peter
