2.4.1 hangs frequently

I posted this a few days ago, but no replies. Was it missed, or was the 
answer, "No, thanks?"

Compiled from source. Gdb bt is attached, but I doubt if its of any 
use! So, I'd like to help if I can. Any suggestions?
