Hi,
I have a big problem.
The GIT version of BALSA doesn't display any message which are
written in html.
I confirm the same issue (with webkit2).
On the other hand, stepping back to balsa-2.5.3 (Gentoo) solves this
problem but I cannot send any messages, I always get
Agreed. 2.5.3 works, 2.5.6 (or git head) does not. I suppose I'll
start a git bisect.
Relaying refused:
530: #5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first.
I didn't see the actual error, but I also fail to send using 2.5.3. I
think I've been using git head since shortly after 2.5.3 came out, so
going back to 2.5.3 I probably did run into the libesmtp problem Peter
mentioned.
For the GIT version I have configured BALSA with
--with-html-widget=webkit2 --with-html-widget=no
Is that wrong?
As other messages have pointed out, you only want/need the first part,
but that's how I've done it, and I get the same success with 2.5.3 and
failure with 2.5.6 with either manual compile or using gentoo ebuilds.
I have webkit-gtk 2.18.6, but it's been that version for a while.
Many thanks for a hint,
Helmut
Jack
