May not be relevant, but: I often get messages with supposedly invalid signatures, and it's caused by my POP server (AT&T/Yahoo/JPOP something) deleting (incorrectly) a leading dot on a received line. Agree with you and Albrecht that we should make the info less confusing when the signature is deemed invalid. Peter
