Hey guys,
Cool thing you have going here, now if only it could see my ipod.
I'm running 0.10.5 on gentoo. I have followed the iPod
trouble-shooting guide to a tee.
1. ipod --list shows my ipod
2. running ipod and plugging it in, I see my ipod.
3. gnome volume manager automatically mounts my ipod
ps aux | grep dbus
101 11187 0.0 0.1 3024 1648 ? Ss 10:06 0:00
/usr/bin/dbus-daemon --system
sean 11603 0.0 0.1 3024 1724 ? Ss 10:07 0:00
dbus-daemon --fork --print-pid 9 --print-address 6 --session
sean 14556 0.0 0.0 1492 476 pts/1 R+ 10:15 0:00 grep dbus
Banshee says in the log section:
Could not connect to D-Bus: D-Bus support will be disabled for this
instance: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
The DBUS environment variables are set.
Banshee works great, and it sees cd's, but not the ipod.
Any clues?
thanks,
Sean
