Using Ubuntu 7.10
For Banshee I followed steps here:

error: Unable to locate Supported Media Player.
I also tried Amarok and Rythmbox. All have the same problem of not even
seeing the ipod connected.
I was thinking that Linux wasn't seeing the USB port but it reads a
thumb drive no problem. (I just installed linux last night)
