That worked... Banshee builds.. with all the options I specified.

I compiled the cleaner plugin to my ~/.gnome2/banshee/plugins and I see two files there... Cleanup.dll and Cleanup.dll.mdb

I restart Banshee but see no Cleanup plugin??? 

Is there a build parameter for banshee itself that makes it scan for plugins in the ~/.gnome2/banshee/plugins directory or not???

To uninstall mono-zeroconf from source, what you can do is this:

$ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local
$ sudo make uninstall

Then re-configure for --prefix=/usr and make, make install.
