That might not be a bad idea to throw in teh bug report.  I will try it out on my box and post the results  in the bug report.

I think this bug is created if the database is converted from version 0 to 16. So installing the repo version should be enough. If so the debugger complains about inserting only 10 columns in a table with 12.
