Regarding the "Genre" support, there are three things I'd lik=
e to be able to do. Maybe someone can tell me if I am just being a dunderhe=
ad and can already do them:

1) Add my own genres.

Banshee has a track editor, wher=
e you can add or edit the track's genre.=A0 Just right click on the tra=
ck and click "Edit Track Information".=A0 You can change or add a=
genre to the (selected) track(s).
=A0
<blockquote class=3D"gmail_quote" style=3D"border-left: 1px solid =
rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;">

2) Change the given genre for a tune or CD.

See above.=
=A0

<blockquote class=3D"gmail_quote" style=3D"border-left: 1p=
x solid rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;">=

3) Specify genres for synching. For example, I have two iPods: one contains=
all Blues and the other one contains the rest of my music. iTunes let me s=
pecify genres that are to be synched to specific iPods. That way when I plu=
g in iPod #1 it automatically synchs all of my Blues (and only Blues). And =
when I plug in iPod #2 it automatically synchs all of my non-Blues songs. I=
'd love to be able to continue this process with Banshee.

I don't know, I don't own an iPod.

<blockquote c=
lass=3D"gmail_quote" style=3D"border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); ma=
rgin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;">

Thanks for any help on this issue,
Larry

I hope that helps, if you have any more ques=
tions, let me know.

Paul
