Hello,
First of all I would like to thank everyone related with the Banshee
development.
I write to make a feature request. I use Banshee 1.6 Beta 2 (1.5.1)
(as packaged in the Ubuntu Karmic repositories) to manage the music on
my 8GB iPod. I can "manually manage this device" dragging & dropping
and manually removing songs but I can't use an important feature
provided by Banshee. One of the iPod Sync Preferences allows to
automatically sync the content of the device with the Music Library
but it is useless for me because my entire Music Library does not fit
in the device. If I enable this check box Banshee starts copying all
the songs in the Music Library to the iPod without checking that they
does not fit there.
I think Banshee should allow the user to select a Playlist (or even
better an Smart Playlist) to be synchronized with the iPod instead of
the entire Music Library. This will allow users with "small" devices
like this 8GB iPod to use the auto-sync feature.
Thanks in advance,
