[Banshee-List] Music Library will not load

My music library of 20,000 songs is over a network storage (USR8700). I mount
it using smbmount. When I add the music library and scan library or try to
import media, with all of them Banshee only picks up 83 songs out of the
20,000. 

I have tried it with rythembox and Listen and songbird. they all pick up the
20,000. Any Idea why Banshee only picks up 83???

I am running Ubuntu 8.10 and Banshee 1.4.2.
