[Banshee-List] Constant "Scanning for Media" message.

I've been using Banshee a while without problem. However, the other day, I
accidentally pressed "Import videos from pictures folder" instead of the
usual "...From local folder" (I only use banshee for music, so don't need to
scan for videos). From then on, whenever I use Tools > Rescan Music Library
an "importing media > scanning for media" progress bar appears under the
usual "Rescanning" bar, and (more importantly) won't disappear even if I
press close... 

It's really annoying. I first started using Banshee, as when I open
Rhythmbox I started to get an annoying message when it opened. I do much
prefer Banshee now, and would appreciate if anyone could help get rid of
this bar. It must be to do with the places Banshee scans when it rescans, is
there a text file somewhere which holds this info? As I say it worked fine
until I used the Import Videos option, so the default install of Banshee
worked fine. I've tried uninstalling Banshee using Synaptic and add/remove
programs, but no joy. Please help!!! :,(
