Mtpfs is your problem, I'd imagine.
Banshee uses libtmtp directly-so for best results make sure that an mtp connection isn't active when it tries to connect.
Can you attach a log with the debug switch enabled please?
Andres,
ok installed all lib and lib-dev packages you specified, no problems.
glib 2.0 and 2.4
gio-sharp 2.22.3
gtk-sharp-beans 2.0
gudev-sharp 1.0
gkeyfile-sharp 0.1
./configure --enable-gio-hardware --disable-appledevice
GIO backend - yes
GIO support - yes
myconfig2.txt attached myconfig2.txt
<http://banshee-media-player.2283330.n4.nabble.com/file/n4651601/myconfig2.txt>
then compiled and installed, no problems.
connected phone to pc with usb cable
mounted phone with mtpfs
started banshee
nothing, same result, phone is not recognized as mtp device
any more suggestions ?
I tried this command to run banshee in debug mode:
banshee --debug-addins
and got no errors, just this:
