Can you post a log of what you get when you run "banshee --debug"? It'd
help people work out what the app thinks it is doing! It might be best
to post it on pastebin or somewhere and link to it.

My music libraries won’t update anymore. I have my music files on a NTFS

In either Noise or in Banshee, whenever I attempt to rescan my music
library, it keeps going round in circles, linking the same small batch of
albums over and over again until the same tracks are in there 20 times or
more. It’s also a very memory intensive process, my CPU is going crazy. All
I can find by googling is some advice as to plugins which detect duplicate
songs but that would be useless! The library scans just keep going round in
a loop and will never get to the end.
Help!
I should add that both Banshee and Noise are looping with the same small
batch of files from my music folder. Rhythmbox however is scanning normally
and seems to far not to be affected.
