error about sound card. Help!

hello, verybody.
I'm a debian newbie.

when i end the "apt-get install x-window-system gnome" operation, and 
start x-window-system, the "gnome volume controler" couldn't work!
I don't know how to use alsa/oss drive my sound card, who can tell me 
how to do?

my sound card is "intel8x0 Intel Corp. 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio (rev 
05)", it was probed by alsaconf.
But alsaconf's result is like following:
