Hi,
as you probably know, there is an open event on Monday at 10:00 CET (9:00 WET and 18:00 KST) where BuildStream developers and users meet to:
* Go through new bugs that affect users. * Comment the hot topics of the project from the users perspective.
We go through the tickets that the users has opened and, when present at the event, we listen to their explanations and considerations about them. Sometimes it somebody from the team that has reproduced the problem who does the description. So this meeting does not substitute the offline conversations through our normal channels or our monthly IRC meeting but reinforce them.
The reason why I like the meeting is not only because it works as team building forum but because it also works as a education forum, where developers and users learn from each other, which is essential in the current context in which the BuildStream developers are not using the tool on daily basis. Feel free to join these morning meetings. We want to hear from you, how you are using the tool and the problems you are finding. If you are a BuildStream developer, please join too. I believe you will learn over time quite a few things.
The event schedule[1] is posted in the BuildStream calendar[2]. If you want to receive notifications about this weekly meeting, add yourself to the event itself as guess. We translate the outcome to the affected tickets during or after the meeting.
Please be aware of time zone changes now that some parts of the world has moved to a winter time.
