I am not sure what you mean by "in testing". Do you mean by that in the
'tests' folder of the plugin?
I meant to say that the 'tests' module of buildstream can have have a module which registers plugins and
generates tests for the plugin api.
This would have the disadvantage that this would not get installed with BuildStream anymore, and therefore,
plugin authors would not be able to use the standardized tests.
I believe it is better to stay with the current approach and ship those tests as part of the main package.
