I applied this patch, and at least it puts out UTF8_STRING data for this
atom.
Only now, they seem too short, so maybe sawfish still doesn't put them out
right.
--> xprop -root | grep DESKTOP_NAMES
_NET_DESKTOP_NAMES(UTF8_STRING) = 0x3, 0x1, 0x0
While in someone else's xprop -root there were much more bytes.
So,
a) could some gnome hackers using something else than sawfish send me a
private mail with their xprop -root output ?
b) is it possible that either that patch still has an error or that
sawfish doesn't really know how to send utf8 properly ?
c) once this bug gets fixed, what's the best way to get it actually into
cvs so it can be fixed before gnome2 ?
