Gnome-vfs blocks cddb-capplet. Why?

So according to bug 74767 the cddb slave capplet is explicity blocked
from appearing in the menus (and I guess the nautilus preferences:///
too) by gnoem-vfs.

Any technical reasoning for this[1]?
