Worth considering anyhow. For a minute I thought you meant the old
control center thingy with the tree on the left and embedded capplets,
but then I realized you meant current gnome-control-center --use-shell
which has some appeal.

It doesn't magically fix the fact that putting things in categories
makes them harder to find, though. The OS X design nicely avoids that
issue as does "just have < 15 capplets"
