I seldomly compile garnome all over again with new releases. I tend to check
the ftp-site once in a while, and often compile newly released packages whenever
they are announced.
Wheneven a new garnome is released I diff it anyway. I even have a small script
doing it for me. :-)

Anyway to make the story short, here the a more complete changelog. I might not
have caught all the changes though.

If you are as brave as I am and want to just diff your existing Garnome build,
the following list is in order you could safely do the update. But forgive me if I
made any typos or other mistaakes.
If do you decide to do this, keep in mind Jeff made other changes as well occasionally,
like including patches. Running you own diff will reveal those easily.

If you want to test the gstreamer-stuff it is better to rebuild Garnome, or otherwise
remove any libs it installed with the previous version of garnome. This is due to the
fact that version 0.5.0 can be installed next to the existing version. This is done to
facilitate having both a stable and unstable version installed in the future.
