When removing this include, it fails miserably on all kinds of missing defines... which seem to be defined in gconf.defs? Any simple way to 'fix' this?


Update gconf.


This is with GConf 1.1.6, from what i know that is the latest version ;-)
(unless you mean unstable, unreleased CVS version?)

I had the RPM installed of it, so to make sure a bug in the rpm wasnt to blame, i installed the tarbal version, and the same error still occurs.

(before you ask, this is with the 'complete' gnome alpha 2 installed and python 2.2, on a otherwise plain redhat 7.2 box)
