Re: themes and gnome (standardized directory idea)

Hi Folks:

I like the idea of standardizing where GNOME theme info goes.  The
accessibility project has a more immediate, but related need: we have
some themes that we'd like to put in cvs to support low vision, and
there are one or two in particular that we'd like to include in core
GNOME distributions.

There hasn't been any interest in bundling these with gtk+, at least to
date, so these themes need a home in cvs.  Putting them in an
accessibility infrastructure module doesn't make sense, because they are
useful independent of things like at-spi, etc.

I think a gnome-themes module sounds great, if someone wants to
volunteer to maintain it we'd like to put the first themes into it :-) 
We have the themes, including some very nice icon work by jimmac and
tigert, but noplace to put them...
