Missing option in the tasklist applet?

I can't seem to find a way to raise windows from the tasklist applet,
besides doubleclicking to minimise and then maximising again. Is this
just missing or was it left out for a reason?

Personally given the choice I'd like it to act like the old 1.4 version
where the first click raised the window, but even having it in the right
click menu would work (I'm not afraid of new ways of working).
