RE: How do I switch to Sawfish??

Hi,

	1. We can change the window manager using the bin/gnome-wm script. In line 46 of this file, we can the window manager priority. By default sawfish is listed first. If sawfish is replaced with metacity, it should work.

	2. set the environment variable WINDOW_MANAGER with the required windows manager(say export WINDOW_MANAGER=metacity). Normally we set this variable in /etc/dt/config/Xinitrc.gnome file in Sun Sparc.

Thanks
Prabu

... i did type more here but before sending it i cut the parts out ...
