Why so modest? As far as I'm concerned, GNOME is already better than
Windows in all respects (in the relevant, comparable areas that is). But
who cares? Let the distro vendors worry about which menu items and icons
to put where. They're not going to use vanilla GNOME anyway. GNOME
developers are better off creating a stable, consistent platform to
develop for, IMHO.
