Running or not? Because I do have fam installed, but I disable it
because it is "unstable".
By this I mean that it listens to a random udp port on startup, requires
portmap... all that is just asking for trouble!

The basic concept seems like a good thing, but before making it a
dependency, some work needs to be done in terms of security.
Not using udp/tcp/rpc by default is a good start, after all, we all
should know the history record of rpcs!
