Mikael, please see my message on desktop-devel with status of libgaim.
Until it will be completed, will you keep working on Gossip and be ready
to make the switch to libgaim when appropriate?
My opinion is you should focus on UI / gnome integration, not jabber
protocol. You should also plan multiple-accounts ( with different
protocols ).
