Switcher"

btw. having a layout switcher applet is all well and good, but there
really should be a way of accomplishing the same thing within the
Control Center. Given that I use a "standard" US QWERTY keyboard
exclusively, there may be some way of changing the layout w/o the applet
that I'm not aware of, but the applet is really only useful for people
who want to change their layout "on the fly," instead of simply changing
the default.
