Looks interesting. I recommend you patch them against GNOME HEAD (which
is the current GNOME development series) and submit these patches to
bugzilla, so the maintainer can track the stuff down and in case inform
you whether they get applied or rejected. The other benefits here are
that your patches won't get lost as they probably will here on the
Mailinglist.
