Theoretically yes, although it can not yet stream the video into a
bonobo component. Currently it lets the browser download the file
into its cache, and then loads that file into a component.

None that I know of. But adding that functionality to totem (for
example) should not be very hard.

Yes, if a component has those they will of course be displayed and
usable.
