We are working on a desklets browser to handle all this. Browsing,
installation, deinstallation...

There is a VFS module in CVS; some people will certainly like it, but
the preferred way will be the new desklets browser.

That's an argument. If people really want a desklets:// VFS module, they

can still pull it from CVS. It's not in the official releases, though.
