It's worth linking to the gnome libs for GNOME 2.8, but the GNOME 2.10
plan I would like to see is nuking libgnome*. There's a good chance this
will be one of the GTK+ 2.6 goals, offering everything you need in GTK+.
So it's hopefully port to libgnome for 2.8, port back off it in 2.10.
