I think it's a problem, yes. Given that there are 3 different things in
the same dialog that all mean "home" in some manner, and are displayed
in 3 different ways. If "dobey" is going to have the gnome-fs-home icon,
then it should have the same text as that bookmark that I can't seem to
get rid of.

Ideally, perhaps. Since you mentioned Nautilus here too, I just went to
see what it does, since I never really see $HOME in Nautilus as an
icon/label, as I use $HOME == Desktop. It doesn't seem to use the
gnome-fs-home icon at all for me, or translate "dobey" to "dobey's Home"
or just "Home" at all. It is just "dobey" with the standard folder
icon.
