Well, IMHO those "mainstream" distros (except maybe debian and gentoo)
have their own set of tools, that's the group that could safely ignore
the GST (as I told in my previous e-mail to this thread), and even
there's little benefit for them to switch to GST, should we sit and wait
for them to change their mind?

Anyway, which distros don't recommend GST for usage? and for which
reasons? (I can't understand the fact that X distro doesn't advocate Y
tool, but not recommending it for usage is much worse)
