I'd like to point out that java-gnome _will_ have an API-stable release
very soon, that wraps GTK+ 2.4 API, thanks to the schedule. It's a great
achievement, and it's what we should require of any language binding
used in the desktop.
I think that gnome-python will get there very soon too, though it
doesn't look like Gtk# can get in-sync until after 2.8. As much as
people might like it, you can't make stuff happen faster than it
happens. That's one reason why I think this is a pointless discussion.
