I don't like this idea. This would add a demand for one additional menu
item everywhere; and would force the user to make a mental distinction
between templates and ordinary documents. Yet the nice thing about
templates is that ordinary documents can be used as templates, too!

Come to think of it, OO.o _does_ have a specific distinction between
templates and ordinary documents. Perhaps there is a need for this with
regard to field codes for mail merge etc. But it would be great if the
OO.o-GNOME integration should transparently put OO.o templates in the
templates shown by Nautilus.
