Had this conversation in #galago,

ChipX86: it has a special "me" person that refers to the local user, but 
there are "persons" and accounts set up for everybody fed to galago
ChipX86: currently, gaim and evolution both feed galago. Work will be 
done in time on GnomeMeeting and other IM clients and VoIP phones with 
SIP presenc
