I think the best rationale for this feature is idem-potency: when you
move left, and subsequently right, you expect to be where you started.
OTOH, idempotency only applies to things without borders. I think the
question boils down to: does the collection of workspaces as a whole
have a border?
I really think this could help people switch workspaces faster, as they
can focus on the screen('s center) and not on the workspace switcher.
And I really think it's not much overhead to have as a hidden preference,
so I vote pro</me too>.
