Then it's even more important it has a more distinctive namespace, since
menu_tree is a pretty generic GUI term.  Maybe changing it to
libfdomenus, fdo_menu_tree, etc or something to signify that it handles
the FDo menu system.

The library does seem at least somewhat tied to GNOME though, from my
look at the code.
