But not viewing those underlines until you hit the alt key would, imnsho,
defeat the purpose of a *SHORT*cut key...

P.S. I heard some other OS'es only show the shortcut keys for menus after
hitting Alt, but since I don't have that other OS, I can't test to make
sure.
