It's *great* news. The GNOME Developer Platform is LGPL (and similar) for a
reason, and we have been keen to see e-d-s join the Plaform for quite some
time now. Now it's very much on its way.

The choice of license strategy for the Developer Platform was made a long
time ago, and we were as informed then as we are now.
