libgee 0.6 vs 0.8

Since the question just came up on irc:

All of our vala-using modules are currently using libgee 0.6. Although
a 0.8 release may happen in time for 3.6, there doesn't seem to be a
compelling reason to switch immediately. Therefore Philip and I
concluded that we should stick with 0.6 for the rest of the 3.6 cycle,
and switch to 0.8 early in 3.7 development.

Let me know if there is a compelling reason that should make us reconsider this.
