That was me in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=695371#c35 as
you asked for community review before implementing. I normally point to
http://nat.org/blog/2006/02/dan-winship-on-design-by-committee/ now, but
unfortunately the links to the images seem to be broken now.
