TARBALLS DUE: GNOME 3.11.90, The Freeze, and other things

Hello all,

We are now at 3.11.90, you should publish your tarball on Monday, so
that the release team and friends get enough time to assemble and test
it all.

Also we are reaching "The Freeze", API/ABI changes, UI changes, and
new features should now be well in place and stop moving, details are
available in the wiki[1], and of course you can reach the release
team, by mail or on IRC, if you have questions.

Another thing, we will be entering the string change announcement
period, e.g. string changes can still be made (e.g. for typo fixes or
translatability improvements). All string changes must be announced to
both gnome-i18n@ and gnome-doc-list

Writing of release notes will begin and there will most likely be a
call for help, we are counting on you.

Tarballs are due on 2014-02-17 before 23:59 UTC for the GNOME
3.11.90 beta release, which will be delivered on Wednesday. Modules
which were proposed for inclusion should try to follow the unstable
schedule so everyone can test them. Please make sure that your
tarballs will be uploaded before Monday 23:59 UTC: tarballs uploaded
later than that will probably be too late to get in 3.11.90. If you
are not able to make a tarball before this deadline or if you think
you'll be late, please send a mail to the release team and we'll
find someone to roll the tarball for you!
