Here's a design choice I'd like some input on: Should Unit
selection be a
per-diagram option or a global option? Any opinions for or against?
I vote for the per diagram option with a default for new diagrams. Why?
Because the times when I want to use non metric units I don't want it
changing the default for new diagrams and I'll only want to change the
units on the current diagram. Please have the option for millimetres (mm)
as I have an aversion to centimetres :-)
Further delving into properties turn up a problem: The standard properties
code doesn't have a pointer to the diagram at all. Either one will have to
be passed down through object_get_props_from_offsets(), or the objects will
have to hold a pointer to their diagram, or something else entirely.
Cyrille, do you have any ideas?
